Dallas, TX--Baseball movie moving forward rapidly!

A feature film about the integrated 1935 Bismarck, North Dakota baseball team is well on its way to hitting the big screen at a theater near you.

After years of hard work, All-Star Pictures is poised to start filming in late 2006-early 2007, and the production team contains some impressive resumes.

Co-producer Kyle McNary of Minneapolis, MN will take on the duties of technical advisor, and will coach the actors at a three week "spring training" session. McNary was a high school, college and semipro third baseman and catcher, and has coached baseball since 1987. He wrote the biography of Bismarck star Double Duty Radcliffe, and is near completion of an extensive diary of Bismarck, ND baseball during the depression.

Texans Bob Stephens and John Foster both have impressive credentials and will be called upon to secure funding and provide distribution, among other tasks. Stephens, executive producer of All-Star Pictures, and principal owner of FilmDev.com, has been in the film industry for decades, and will be the guiding force of the project.

Foster has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Odyssey Pictures Corporation since June of 2001, and since 1990 has served as President of JL Media Services of Dallas, TX. His company has distributed such films as "Liar's Club," and "Trance."

All-Star Pictures is also excited to welcome Carrington Commodities of Plano, Texas to the project; they will issue shares in the motion picture, and Michael Waxman, successful director and producer, who has worked on such movies as "Rudy," "When Harry Met Sally," "A Low Down Dirty Shame," "Ali," and "Miami Vice," to name but a few.
